2007 TRIPS TO THE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF BROK / Brok-Open Door
documentary theater for the weekend
Excursions are usu­ally aimed at sight­see­ing land­scapes, unique archi­tec­ture, qual­i­ties of cli­mate, how­ever, it is rare that we travel to unknown place to meet people. Trips to the inhab­i­tants of Brok were an untyp­i­cal offer for those who would like to get to know uncom­mon people of the city of Brok during Sunday walk.


The route of the trip:
The fac­tory of ice-​creams / the tech­nolo­gies of ice-​cream pro­duc­ing /  old-​fashioned and BIO methods


Postman’s house / pre­sen­ta­tion of unique stamp col­lec­tion i.e. from Gen­eral Government   (polish stamps with Hitler’s portrait)

Brok’s town hall / after­noon tee with a mayor

Pres­bytery / Parson shows a farm of  rare hens: padewski and białoczub

Old cinema / revival of fire­man orches­tra, Tomasz Gvinciński’s jam session

Fire-​brigade / pre­sen­ta­tion of the dutch hook-and-ladder truck – a gift from Jan Brok from the Netherlands

Eustachy Kos­sakowski and Anka Ptaszkowska’s house / exhi­bi­tion of the artist’s photos

The Ruins of Płock Bish­ops Palace / guided tour of non-​yet exist­ing project
