2007 ON-SITE INSPECTION IN BW BANK
Special excursion to BW Bank/ part of 1,2,3… Avant-Gardes
A bank is one of the most obvious institutions in one’s life. Nevertheless economic structures, their internal logic and the way in which they are institutionalized into what is “bank” today - exist often as an imaginary concept. The tour will happen during working hours parallel to work being performed. You will be able to visit offices, gold sector, bank art collections and different services, you will meet bank managers and employees. The public will be guided by Mr. Wolfgang Grupp, one of the directors of BW Bank. The tour uses the concept of inaccessible reality as a stage and raises questions whether and to which extent a bank and economics are a contemporary form of participation performance.
